Welcome to Heathermount School, an outstanding independent special school where every pupil is supported to achieve their fullest potential. We are a day school supporting pupils from the ages of 5 to 18 and we benefit from being part of the Cavendish family of schools. Following our recent Ofsted inspection in October 2024, we are proud to share that the school received the highest rating of Outstanding across all key areas, including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.

At Heathermount, we are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and other co-occurring conditions can thrive. Our staff have an exceptional understanding of each child’s individual needs and provide personalised support that empowers pupils to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
