Book fair success!
On Wednesday, 27th November, we hosted a vibrant and exciting Book Fair, providing all our students with the opportunity to choose a book of their choice from a large array of new texts. This event reflected another step in our ongoing efforts to cultivate a love of reading amongst our school community!
As part of our initiative, each child was given the chance to pick a book that sparks their interest. The school will purchase these books, allowing students to read them both in school and at home, deepening their engagement with reading. Once the students have finished with their books, they will return them to the school, where they will be added to our expanding library, contributing to a collection of texts that reflect the tastes and interests of our pupils.
The event is not only a wonderful opportunity for students to enjoy and explore new reading material but also an exciting way to enhance our school library with books our children are eager to read. By fostering a strong connection between reading at home and at school, we hope to nurture lifelong readers who are inspired by their personal book choices and the wider world of literature.
The Book Fair was a fantastic celebration of reading, bringing our school community together and helping students take ownership of their learning. We look forward to seeing the books enrich our library and inspire future generations of readers!!
