We were awarded an Outstanding Ofsted result in 2024. 

The inspectors highlighted that "high aspirations and ambition permeate every aspect of this school" and recognised how our students "thrive and grow to become young people who contribute to society."  

The report praised our students' "exemplary behaviour" and their ability to "recognise and manage their emotions," as well as the school's "unrelenting focus" on meeting each pupil’s individual needs. One parent powerfully described us as "an incredible school that has literally changed our child’s life and given us optimism about the future."

We are especially proud of our dedicated staff, who were commended for their "expert subject knowledge" and commitment to making a lasting difference in the lives of our students.  Inspectors noted the "shared sense of joy and privilege" amongst staff members about being part of the Heathermount team.
