Winchester Science Centre

Elm Class enjoyed a really exciting educational trip to the Winchester Science Centre.  See our Gallery for more photos.

The trip was designed to enhance their understanding of key scientific concepts.  It enriched the students learning about states of matter, complementing their classroom studies with hands-on experiences and interactive activities.

One of the highlights of the day was the 'States of Matter' workshop. Students participated in various experiments, where they observed and explored non-Newtonian fluids. This hands-on session allowed them to witness science in action, deepening their comprehension and sparking their curiosity about the world around them.

In addition to the workshop and planetarium, the children also had time to explore the Centre's many exhibitions. From interactive displays to practical challenges, they were engaged and inspired throughout. The trip was not only educational but also a wonderful opportunity for the children to bond and have fun outside the classroom. Everyone returned to school with smiles on their faces and exciting stories to share.
