Teaching Assistant - Permanent
We are looking for creative and enthusiastic teaching assistants who will make a positive contribution to achieving the best outcomes for our students. Experience of working with students with autism would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Teaching assistants support our students in their learning by either working with individuals or groups of students. They also contribute to the assessment, planning, recording, monitoring, and reporting of students’ progress. Our classes are small (max 8 in Secondary), and our staff training is comprehensive. We work hard to achieve the best possible outcome for our students and parents.
Please do not hesitate to call the school for an informal chat or come and visit us and meet our inspiring, wonderful young people and our hard-working, talented staff. We welcome interest from colleagues from both mainstream and special or alternative provisions. Please call 01344 875101 or email recruitment@heathermount.co.uk.
Our application form and suitability self-declaration form can be downloaded from our vacancies page.
The closing date for these posts is 29th November 2024.
NB At Heathermount we evaluate applications on receipt and may contact suitable candidates for interview before the closing date. Please note, the role will close as soon as a successful candidate is appointed, so early application is recommended.
