Senior Leadership Team

• David Stewart

  Headteacher

  Mr Stewart has dedicated over 35 years to the field of education, with experience in both mainstream and special education settings. With 16 years in senior leadership roles, including 10 years as a Headteacher across various special schools, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to ensuring outstanding outcomes for all students.

• Craig Drummond

  Deputy Headteacher

  Craig has worked in education for 15 years and has been Deputy Headteacher at Heathermount School for the past seven years.

• Jax Snipp

  Assistant Headteacher (Secondary)

  Jax is a highly experienced senior leader with a proven track record across both mainstream and specialist educational settings.

• Lily Claridge

  Assistant Headteacher (Primary/Foundation))

  Lily has 10 years of experience in education, having worked in two mainstream schools in roles as both a SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and Vice Principal.

• Julie Swann

  Admissions, Safeguarding & Pastoral Lead

  Julie is the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Admissions Lead and Mental Health Lead.  She ensures that the voice and needs of each child in the school are heard and met and works collaboratively with parents and colleagues to ensure positive outcomes for all.

• Priya Pillay

  Lead Therapist

  Priya has been working with people with Autism for 21 years in both South Africa and England.
